A closer look

One booking, several versions.

Imagine a travel business putting its monthly channel reports on one table. A social campaign introduced a destination. A video answered a concern. A search advertisement brought the traveller back before booking. Each report presents its own version of success. The finance team sees one booking. The planning problem begins when those separate accounts are treated as separate customers, and the next budget follows the loudest claim.

The edge of each channel’s frame

Every channel observes part of a journey under its own measurement rules. Some interactions create familiarity; others collect demand that already exists. A neat comparison of reported returns can therefore hide different jobs, overlapping audiences and unequal evidence. Effective allocation starts by asking what each channel contributes and what remains uncertain, rather than treating every reported conversion as additional business.

Give each investment a role

BBEST maps audience journeys, market priorities and available channel evidence against business capacity. We build investment scenarios with explicit assumptions, define the role of each channel and agree when allocation should be reconsidered. The result is an editable media plan, responsibilities and a shared review agenda. Where evidence permits, we propose bounded tests to investigate contribution beyond platform attribution.

The starting question

Channels report from their own viewpoint. Added together, their claims can overstate the customer journey and conceal duplicated effort, missed audiences and operational constraints.

An output you can act on

A media plan that assigns distinct channel roles, compares investment scenarios and makes the reasoning behind each allocation open to review.
